The 3M™ Versaflo™ helmets of the M-300 series are lightweight, compact, and well-balanced helmets with integrated protection against a range of respiratory, head, face, and ear hazards, making them suitable for use on construction sites. Designed for use with 3M™ powered air purifying respirators and compressed air breathing systems in a variety of applications.
The 3M™ Versaflo™ helmets of the M-300 series provide versatile, integrated protection against numerous respiratory, face, and eye hazards. Available models include the Versaflo™ M-306 with a universal face seal, suitable for construction or heavy industry work, and the Versaflo™ M-307 with a flame-retardant face seal, designed for applications with hot particles, such as in melting, foundries, or other metalworking applications. Our helmet is certified according to EN 397 for head protection, making it suitable for construction sites where hard hats are required alongside respiratory protection.
The individually adjustable headgear features a ratchet closure with a textile strap, ensuring optimal fit and weight distribution, as well as an airflow distributor that allows the user to adjust the airflow in the headpiece for added comfort. The visor offers clear visibility to the sides and downward. Its scratch-resistant polycarbonate coating makes it particularly resilient against scratches and chemicals. When combined with a 3M™ powered air purifying respirator, it meets the respiratory performance requirements according to class TH3. It is also easy to maintain, with interchangeable replacement parts that can be quickly, simply, and intuitively swapped. It can be combined with many 3M™ Peltor™ hearing protection products. The version with an integrated microphone enables easy communication during use.
Applications
The M-series headpieces can be used with a powered air purifier as a respiratory protection system or with a compressed air regulator as a compressed air respiratory protection system. The systems offer protection against:
